Supply Lists

Welcome parents and families! We’re excited to kick off a new school year with your child. To help them start the year off strong, please make sure they have the supplies they will need.

Below are the supply lists for the 2026-2027 school year for preschool through 8th grade. Please note that specific supplies may vary by grade. Your child's classroom teacher will be in touch near the start of the school year with any other supplies that are specific to their class.

 

We do not have supply lists for high school students, as teachers will inform students of any additional materials needed beyond the basics, such as pencils, notebooks, and paper.

 

Optional additional donations are greatly appreciated at all grade levels:
Tissues, hand sanitizer, and/or disinfecting wipes

  • Preschool Supply List 2026-2027

     

    • 12 Glue Sticks- Scotch or Elmer's brand
    • 2 Boxes of Markers
    • 2 Boxes of Crayola Crayons
    • 4 pk Play-Doh brand play-doh - 4 oz. cans
    • 1 pack of cardstock (boys white, girls colored)
    • 2 boxes of Kleenex
    • 2 Skinny dry-erase markers
    • 1 box Ziploc quart-size baggies (boys only)
    • 1 pack uncoated paper plates (girls only)
    • 1 Crayola watercolor paint set
    • 1 Pack of Clorox wipes
    • 1 16-inch backpack (no wheels)
    • 1 Nap Mat with Pillow- this link is the recommended product.

    TWO complete changes of clothes in a baggie labeled with your child's name:

    Kindergarten Supply List 2026-27


    Welcome to Hannah Cole Primary! The following is a list of supplies your kindergarten child will need for
    school. It is important that each child learns how to use these supplies, and that he/she has the same
    supplies available at home.

    Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Core Supplies

    (Provided FREE at the Back-to-School Bash)

     

    • 12 Elmer’s glue sticks
    • 2 boxes of Classic Colors Washable Crayola Markers- not slim
    • 2 packs of Crayola Crayons; 24 count, classic colors
    • 1 composition notebook
    • 1 scissors
    • 1 school box (8”x4”)
    • 16 Expo thin black markers
    • 1 pair of headphones (over the head, no earbuds)
    • 2 containers Lysol wipes (delivered directly to the school)
    • 1 box Kleenex (delivered directly to the school)

     

    Backpacks may also be available at the Back-to-School Bash through Morgan Street Baptist Church while supplies last.

    Kindergarten-Specific Supplies

    Families will need to purchase and bring these supplies (these are in addition to the Core items):

    • Student backpack - large enough to hold a 9x12 folder, no wheels
    • 24 Ticonderoga pencils (pre-sharpened)
    • 1 additional pack of Crayola Classic Markers
    • 12 additional Elmer’s glue sticks
    • 4 containers of Play-Doh (regular size, any color)
    • 1 package of white cardstock
    • BOYS–1 box Ziplock bags & paper towels
    • GIRLS- 1 container of wet wipes & can of Lysol Spray

     

    Please note: Most classroom supplies are shared community supplies. Headphones will be labeled and remain with each student. Teachers will organize and distribute the remaining supplies throughout the school year.

    First Grade Supply List 2026-27

    Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Core Supplies

    Second Grade Supply List 2025-26

    5 –  Three-hole punched two-pocket folders, NO BRADS (one blue, one red, one green, one purple, one yellow)
    2 – 1-inch white three-ring binders with a plastic sleeve cover
    4 –  Glue sticks
    2 – 24 ct. boxes CRAYOLA crayons
    1 –  Pair child scissors
    3 – 4 packs of EXPO black dry-erase markers
    2 –  Large boxes Kleenex
    1 – Black & white composition notebook – wide ruled
    1 – Box markers (10 count)
    1  – Children’s headphones (over the head)

    Supplies will be collected at the beginning of the school year and passed out to students when needed.
    Please send headphones that have been opened from packaging and labeled with your student’s name.
    There is no need to label any other student's supplies (especially binders).

    We would appreciate it if you could stick to the above list as closely as possible. We understand that some supplies may be difficult to find, so please just get what you can.

    3rd -5th Grade Core Supplies

    Please purchase and bring these items to Open House. These items are not included at the Back-to-School Bash.

    • Backpack without wheels that is large enough to hold a 9" × 12" folder.
    • A reusable, spill-proof water bottle labeled with the student's first and last name.
    • 1 (1-inch) white binder
    • 1 package of 5-tab dividers for a 3-ring binder
    • 1 additional box of Crayola Crayons (24-count, classic colors)
    • 1 additional box Crayola Washable Markers (10-count, classic colors)
    • 1 pack of wide-ruled loose-leaf paper
    • 4 plastic folders with pockets and prongs (red, blue, green, and yellow)
    • 1 pack 3" × 5" index cards
    • Girls: 1 bottle (32 oz.) hand sanitizer and 1 box of sandwich-size Ziplock bags
    • Boys: 1 box of gallon-size Ziplock bags

    4TH GRADE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST – 2025-2026

    DO NOT LABEL THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

    • 24 Ticonderoga brand or USA Gold brand yellow #2 pencils (NO Dixon, Cra-Z-Art, or plastic-wrapped pencils)
    • 1 package of pencil top erasers
    • 2 glue sticks
    • 8 Expo brand dry erase markers, black, chisel tip
    • 2 boxes of Kleenex
    • 1 bottle hand sanitizer (girls only)
    • 1 box of quart or sandwich-size Ziploc bags (boys only)

    PLEASE LABEL THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WITH STUDENT’S FIRST AND LAST NAME:

    • 1 - 1 inch white 3-ring binder with front cover sleeve OR bring last year’s data binder (No zipping trapper keeper-style binders)
    • 3 two-pocket folders with prongs (colors preferably: red, green, and blue)
    • 1 plastic school box (no larger than 9” x 6”) OR small zipper pouch
    • 1 pair pointed-tip scissors, large size
    • 1 package of 5-tab dividers (for 3-ring binder)
    • 1 pair of over-the-ear headphones (Over-the-ear required. No earbud-style headphones, please. An additional pair may be needed later in the year, depending on durability.)
    • 1 reusable water bottle (spill-proof and labeled with student’s first and last name)

    Note: No trapper keeper-style binders, rulers, mechanical pencils, or Sharpie/permanent markers.

    • 40 Ticonderoga brand or USA Gold brand yellow #2 pencils

    • 1 zipper pencil pouch

    • 1 plastic school box (no larger than 9” x 6”)

    • 8 Expo brand dry erase markers, black, chisel tip

    • 1 box colored pencils – 12 count (Crayola preferred)

    • 1 pair pointed-tip scissors, large size

    • 2 pairs of headphones

    • 1 reusable water bottle (spill-proof and labeled with student’s first and last name)

    • 2 boxes of Kleenex

    • 1 drawstring bag to carry supplies between classes

    • Boys: 1 box of quart-size Ziploc bags

    • Girls: 1 box of sandwich-size Ziploc bags

      Notes:
      The school will purchase each 5th grade student a 5-pocket folder for easy transition between classes. You do not need to purchase this item.

      Please provide both a zipper pencil pouch (to easily transport pencils and erasers between classes) and a plastic school box (to hold loose supplies in the student’s desk/locker).
